“Changing Lives. Providing Resources”
Did you know?
Thousands of homeless and underprivileged women and girls go without access to essential feminine hygiene and menstrual products every day. This lack of access affects their health, confidence, and ability to attend school or work. Project Big Dot is working to change that—one care package at a time.
Project Big Dot is a community-driven organization committed to empowering young women and girls by providing mentorship, essential resources, and educational opportunities. We recognize that when girls have access to the basic items they need—such as hygiene products—they are better positioned to show up, learn, and succeed. Beyond meeting these immediate needs, we aim to equip them with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to shape their own futures.
Through our programs, we not only bridge the gap for female students and women facing income disparities or homelessness, but we also create pathways to success by exposing them to educational opportunities ranging from college to vocational and trade programs. At Project Big Dot, we believe that access and opportunity go hand in hand. By addressing both the tangible and transformational needs of young women, we are building a future where they can thrive—academically, professionally, and personally.
“As a former educator, I’ve seen firsthand how something as simple as access can impact a girl’s confidence, attendance, and success. Feminine hygiene products are essentials we use daily and often take for granted—but for many young women, they’re out of reach. At Project Big Dot, we go beyond providing products. We mentor, guide, and connect girls to educational opportunities that help them see what’s possible. When we invest in their confidence and their growth, we’re helping them focus on learning, dreaming, and showing up as their best selves.”
